HC Deb 03 February 1930 vol 234 c1492
52. Dr. MORRIS-JONES

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in framing his policy for the agricultural industry, he is considering the special conditions of this industry in Wales; and whether, in this matter, he proposes to enlarge the powers and authority of the Welsh Agricultural Department?

Mr. N. BUXTON

The Welsh Department of the Ministry keeps me fully informed on matters relating to the agricultural industry in Wales and any special conditions in the Principality are certainly borne in mind. I do not think any advantage would accrue from an alteration of the powers of the Welsh Department.
