HC Deb 16 April 1930 vol 237 c2891
35. Captain HAROLD BALFOUR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether De H. 9 A biplanes are still used for training cadets at the Royal Air Force Cadet College, Cranwell; if it is proposed to replace this type by more modern machines; and, if so, how soon this will take place?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Mr. Montague)

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second and third parts, it is intended to supply Atlases, which are the standard type of Army co-operation machine, in replacement during the present summer.
