§ Mr. BENNI have no official figure later than that which I gave my hon. and gallant Friend on 18th November. But I have seen the report of a statement made by the South African Minister of Education in the Union Parliament in August last to the effect that between 6,000 and 7,000 Indians had left South Africa under the scheme, and only four had returned.
