HC Deb 09 April 1930 vol 237 c2165
64. Mr. BLINDELL

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, as a result of the inquiry recently held at Boston in connection with the proposal to construct a speedway on the coast between Boston and Skegness, he has any information to give the House; and whether, when definite decisions are reached in this matter, such decisions will be made public?

Mr. SMITH

The details of this proposal have not yet been settled by the promoters, and no decision will be reached until it has been more precisely defined, and the interests concerned have had an opportunity of making representations on it, in its more definite form. The decision of the Department will be communicated to all concerned and will doubtless be made public.
