HC Deb 14 November 1929 vol 231 c2207
56. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Minister of Health whether he has now any statement to make with regard to the funds of the approved societies as affected by the Economy Act, 1926?

Mr. GREENWOOD

No, Sir; I am not at present in a position to make any statement on the subject.

Sir K. WOOD

When will the right hon. Gentleman deal with this? Does he remember the statement he made and the undertakings he gave?

Commander WILLIAMS

Am I to understand that the right hon. Gentleman is now condoning what he used to call "robbery"?
