HC Deb 07 November 1929 vol 231 cc1251-2
Mr. STANLEY BALDWIN

Would the Prime Minister state what will be the business of the House next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, we shall take the further stages of the Widows', Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Bill, and any other Orders may be taken on any day if time should permit.

Mr. BUCHANAN

Has the right hon. Gentleman yet fixed a date for the introduction of a Bill regarding unemployment insurance, and can he state when it is likely to be printed?

The PRIME MINISTER

All I can say is that it will not reach the public or House of Commons stage next week.
