To ask the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware of the feeling of the staff of the Inland Revenue Department, expressed by protest meetings, at the proposed deferment of the payment of salaries due for the period ending 31st March, 1929, until after the Easter holiday; and whether he will state the circumstances which led the Department to take this decision?
