HC Deb 26 March 1929 vol 226 cc2252-3
39. Mr. POTTS

asked the Minister of Health whether he will introduce immediate legislation to amend the law so as to ensure that every purchaser of milk shall be supplied with milk containing not less than a legal standard of milk fat and milk solids, other than milk fat, relating to services for the treatment of tuberculosis, maternity, and child welfare, etc., administered by public authorities under the Public Health Acts?

Apart from any question as to the practicability of the proposal, my right hon. Friend could not undertake to introduce legislation on the subject at the present time.
