Lieut.-Colonel ACLAND-TROYTEasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether a decision has yet been reached with reference to the deputation from the Association of Ex-service Civil Servants which waited upon the Controller of Establishments of the Treasury on 9th January last, concerning the pay and conditions of P.- and P.U.-class clerks in the Civil Service, and with reference also to the letter sent by that association to the Controller of Establishments on 5th March last; and, if not whether he will expedite the decision and cause it to be transmitted to that association without delay?
