§ Colonel ASHLEYThe borough council have let contracts for the whole of the road reinstatement, but this cannot be commenced until the various statutory authorities have completed the work on their mains and services. The contracts provide for continuous working night and day. It is hoped that High Holborn will be open to traffic in May and the remainder of the streets a month later.
