HC Deb 18 March 1929 vol 226 c1489
27. Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has any information to give respecting the results of the inquiries into recent mail-bag robberies?

The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Viscount Wolmer)

There has been no development in connection with the thefts which my hon. Friend has perhaps more particularly in mind. Two persons have been arrested in different parts of the country in connection with other thefts of mail bags in course of transmission.
