§ Sir ARTHUR CHURCHMAN reported from the Committee on Group C of Private Bills; That the parties opposing the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway Bill and the Great Western Railway Bill had stated that the evidence of Ashley Cummins, Secretary of the Dock and Harbour Authority Association, 13, Victoria Street, Westminster, and the production by him of the agreement made 1282 between the Dock and Harbour Authority Association, the Manchester Ship Canal Company, and the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway and others, and also the agreed maps therewith, was essential to their case, and it having been proved that his attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House, he had been instructed to move that the said Ashley Cummins do attend the said Committee and produce the said documents To-morrow, at Eleven of the clock, and for as long as the said Bills shall be under the consideration of the Committee.
§ Ordered, That Ashley Cummins do attend the Committee on Group C of Private Bills To-morrow, at Eleven of 1283 the clock, and during the consideration of the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway Bill and the Great Western Railway Bill, and do produce the said documents.
