Can the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury inform me what will be the business for next week; and can he, at the same time, make any statement about the Easter Recess?

  • The business for Friday will be announced later. If there is time on any day, other Orders will be taken.
I hope the House may adjourn for the Easter Recess on Wednesday, '27th March. The Government are not yet in a position to say when we shall reassemble, but I hope it will not be earlier than the 9th April.
