Mr. BUCHANANasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware of the wide variation in the hours and conditions of employment of persons engaged in the catering trades; that some observe fair conditions of labour, while competitors work their employés long hours and frequently for low wages; and if he will, in view of this, institute an inquiry under the Trades Board Act into the conditions of employment of workpeople in this trade?
