§ 42. Major G. LLOYD GEORGEasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the serious distress that exists in Pembroke Dock owing to the closing down of the Royal Dockyard, he will favourably consider the replacing of the regiment now ordered to leave the town by one of the regiments that will be brought home when the Rhineland is evacuated, so that, pending some alternative employment being provided, the present distress may be relieved to some extent?
§ Mr. SHAWThe question of the replacement of the battalion which will shortly leave Pembroke Dock will be considered on the return of the British troops from the Rhine.
