HC Deb 23 July 1929 vol 230 cc1076-7
53. Mr. WALTER BAKER

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the precise recommendation contained in the first paragraph of the second Report of the Public Accounts Committee which recommends that capital expenditure on Post Office buildings should be included in future in the annual Estimates, he will give an undertaking that such a course will be followed?

Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCE

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave him on this subject on the 11th July.
