§ 44. Mr. HOPKINasked the President of the Board of Education the number of schools which have been condemned in Carmarthenshire; the date at which they were condemned; and the names of these schools?
§ Sir C. TREVELYANOn the 24th February, 1925, the Board sent to the Carmarthenshire Authority a list of 17 schools the premises of which appeared to be unsuitable for continued recognition. Since that date four of the schools have been removed from the list. I am sending my hon. Friend the names of the schools.
§ Mr. HOPKINHow does that compare with other counties in Wales?
§ Sir C. TREVELYANI am afraid that it is still the worst.
