Mr. MACLEANasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been drawn to the number of accidents, 434 fatal and non-fatal, which have been caused by motor vehicles whose owners have not insured, or only partially insured, themselves against such accidents; and, if so, whether he proposes to introduce regulations which will have the effect of insisting upon full insurance before any car is registered or licensed for public or private use?
