§ 58. Mr. WELLOCKasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether in view of the growing importance of politics and the increased interest now being displayed by large sections of the public in political affairs, he will consider reducing the price of the OFFICIAL REPORT to 3d. per copy?
§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEI am afraid that past experience shows that a further reduction in price would increase the loss already falling on public funds in connection with the publication of the OFFICIAL REEPORT. I regret, therefore, that I cannot at present see my way to accept. my hon. Friend's suggestion.
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAWould it not be cheaper if we had the proceedings of Parliament broadcast?
