§ 65. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has been able to take any steps to facilitate the improvement of the harbour at Staithes in the interests of the fishing community?
§ Mr. N. BUXTONA scheme for the improvement of the Harbour of Staithes has been approved and arrangements have been made for Grants-in-aid through the Development Commission subject to a contribution from local sources. Tenders have been invited by the Harbour Commissioners, and it is hoped that the work will be commenced before the end of the summer.
