asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the date has been agreed for the Irish Free State to take over the Irish Lights service?

Mr. H. WILLIAMS

No, Sir. The future of the Irish Lights service is still under the consideration of His Majesty's Governments in the United Kingdom and in the Irish Free State, and I regret that I cannot state when a decision is likely to be reached.

Is the hon. Member taking any steps to look after the pensions of these men?
