§ Commodore KINGIt has proved a matter of considerable difficulty to devise standard methods for the sampling and analysis of coal. This problem is now being considered by a Sectional Committee of the British Engineering Standards Association, which has been set up for the purpose. The Government Departments interested are represented on the Committee and substantial progress is being made.
