23. Mr. FOOT MITCHELLasked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs if he has received any requests from the milk producers and distributors for a continuance of the milk publicity campaign of the Empire Marketing Board?
§ Mr. AMERYThe Empire Marketing Board have lately received from the National Milk Publicity Council a request for a resumption of the milk publicity campaign of last summer, compliance with which they do not feel able to recommend. They have just received, and will shortly be considering, a request for assistance in a like campaign proposed by the Scottish National Milk and Health Association.
§ Mr. HURDIs it not a fact that the distributors in this country are quite pleased to join in this campaign, and has the Empire Marketing Board received any communication from the National Farmers Union as to why they are not anxious to join in the campaign which would be so useful to the milk producer of this country?
§ Mr. AMERYI am not sure what communications have been received from the National Farmers' Union, but, obviously, I should require notice of a question or that kind.
