§ 33. Mr. DAYasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the many complaints his Department has received regarding the quality of bread, which contains a large proportion of water content, he will consider the introduction of legislation which will compel milllers to sell flour to bakers free from adulteration?
§ Sir K. WOODI have been asked to reply. This matter is already dealt with by Bread Acts and the Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, and my right hen Friend does not at present contemplate the introduction of further legislation on the subject.
§ Sir K. WOODPerhaps my hon. Friend would put that question down.
§ Sir K. WOODI should like to see that question on paper.
