HC Deb 06 February 1929 vol 224 cc1776-7
64. Sir N. GRATTAN-DOYLE

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he is aware that steamers are now waiting their turns for bunker coal in the Tyne;. and whether, in view of the cost in- volved in these delays, steps are being taken to secure a better balance between the demand and supply of bunker coal?

The SECRETARY for MINES (Commodore Douglas King)

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave yesterday to the hon. Member for Northampton (Mr. Malone).
