§ 18. Mr. CECIL WILSONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the question of penal administration will be considered by the Council of the League of Nations at its January meeting; and, if so, will he give his support to the proposal that the League of Nations should co-operate with the International Prisons Commission and with other organisations which are interested in the subject, with a view to the improvement of the economic, social, and health conditions in prisons?
Mr. A. HENDERSONThe question to be considered at the January meeting is what is the best method by which the League can co-operate with the International Prison Commission. His Majesty's Government are in favour of the principle of co-operation and will support the proposal that the question of method he carefully examined.
