§ Miss BONDFIELDIt is known that, a number of firms have adopted a, five-day working week, but I have no complete record of them, nor of the number of workers involved.
§ Mr. KELLYMay I ask whether there is any intention of ascertaining the effect of this five-day week?
§ Miss BONDFIELDIt would mean a great deal of investigation which I do not propose to undertake at the moment.
