§ Mr. N. BUXTONI have carefully studied the provisions of the United States "Agricultural Marketing Act" and am following with interest the activities of the Federal Farm Board set up under the Act. Apart from other considerations, agricultural conditions in this country do not sufficiently re- 961 semble those obtaining in the United States to call for legislation on the lines recently passed in that country. I am, however, at present examining various proposals designed to render more secure the position of producers of food in this country.
