§ Mr. GREENWOODNo, Sir. I recently met the committee and asked for an early Report know that the Committee are doing their best to comply with this request, but they have to make some further investigations before they are in a position to report.

Captain CROOKSHANKasked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the antiquated methods of collecting refuse employed by many local authorities in London; and, if so, whether he can take any action with a view to a general improvement of these methods in the interests of the general public?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply given on the 28th ultimo to a question by the hon. Member for Southwark, Central (Mr. Day).
