§ 45. Mr. AMMONasked the Prime Minister whether the subjects to be investigated by the proposed Royal Commission on the Civil Service will include the claim of ex-service men that all previous unpensionable service with the colours shall count towards Civil Service?
Mr. SAMUELThe suggestion contained in the hon. Member's question will be duly considered before the terms of reference of the Royal Commission on the Civil Service are finally settled. But I am not yet in a position to say whether the subject referred to will be within or outside the scope of the Commission's inquiry.
