CUNLIFFE-LISTERI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the House of Commons paper, "Abstract of Returns relating to Pilotage for 1927," which was ordered by the House to be printed in November last. It appears that there were 1,725 licensed pilots in the United Kingdom on 31st December, 1927, and that the average net earnings per pilot for the year 1927 were £513.
§ Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYAre those the latest figures, and, if so, is the right hon. Gentleman unable to obtain more recent figures?
