HC Deb 29 November 1928 vol 223 cc597-8
62. Sir WILFRID SUGDEN

asked the Minister of Health on what principle he held, in a recent appeal from Folkestone in relation to Limes Road, that it was not unfair to regard an owner of land with a frontage of 32 feet and a flank frontage of 140 feet as deriving the same benefit for potential garage purposes as another owner of land in the same road with a single frontage of 98 feet and an existing garage?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The suggestions contained in the question appear to be based on a misapprehension of the facts of this case. My reasons for the decision are explained in a letter of which I am sending a copy to the hon. Member.
