§ 64. Mr. T. WILLIAMSasked the Minister of Health how many local authorities were erecting houses under the various post-War Housing Acts in October, 1927, and how many authorities were building houses in October, 1928, with the number of houses involved in each case?
Mr. CHAMBERLAIN559 local authorities had 35,683 subsidy houses under construction on the 1st October, 1927. The corresponding figures on the 1st October, 1928, were 459 and 32,621 respectively.
