Mr. ERSKINEasked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the Report upon two London County Council subway fires in September last; and, in view of the investigations and comments made by the coroner and the jury's rider, in which it was stated that the London County Council's electric system was obsolete and dangerous, will he say what action is it proposed to take in the matter to minimise the risk of gas explosion?
