asked the Secretary for Mines whether any tin mines in Cornwall have reopened during the last four months?

So far as I am aware, no tin mines in Cornwall have reopened during the last four months.

Mr. KELLY

Have any figures been received by the Department with regard to the reopening of any of these tin mines?

Commodore KING

The owners can close or reopen mines without referring to the Department at all.
