HC Deb 12 November 1928 vol 222 cc499-500
76. Mr. LUMLEY

asked the Secretary of State for Air if his attention has been drawn to the efforts which are being made by the Chamber of Commerce of Hull to establish that city as an air port to serve the Continent; and whether he will give every possible assistance to these efforts?

The SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Sir Samuel Hoare)

I have noted with great interest that the question to which my hon. Friend refers has been engaging the active attention of the Hull Chamber of Commerce, but no official representations have as yet been made to me or my Department in the matter. When they are made, they will be most carefully considered and all possible assistance will be given.
