HC Deb 23 May 1928 vol 217 c1855
14. Mr. SAKLATVALA

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has been notified of any representations made by the Government of Hungary to the League of Nations asking for a revision of the Trianon Treaty?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir.

Mr. SAKLATVALA

May I ask if the Foreign Secretary has taken any steps to make it clear that the foreign policy in regard to Hungary run by a newspaper is not the policy of the British Government?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir. I have not thought it necessary to make it clear that His Majesty's Government conduct their own policy.
