HC Deb 17 May 1928 vol 217 cc1179-80
1. Sir WALTER de FRECE

asked the Minister of Pensions if he can give any further details of the war disabilities of the 17,000 persons pensioned by his Department at the present time who are not adults?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTER of PENSIONS (Lieut.-Colonel Stanley)

I understand that my hon. Friend has in mind some figures as to the number of pensioners which were given in an answer to the hon. Member for Pontypool (Mr. Griffiths) on the 27th February. The 17,000 persons referred to are orphan children of deceased officers and men, who are in receipt of pension on their own account.
