asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information as to what progress has been made with regard to the British national claims in Turkey by the Assessment Commission in Paris, and when they expect to finish their consideration of the claims?

The Inter-Allied Commission for the Assessment of Damage 'Suffered in Turkey has completed the examination of about 11,500 claims (including about 3,400 claims by British nationals). The Commission expect to finish their work by the end of 1928, so far as they can at present judge.
