HC Deb 26 March 1928 vol 215 c815
41. Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the statement of the Greenwich Coroner at the inquest on Henry Overall, a tinsmith employed at Woolwich Arsenal, who died through lead poisoning; if so, will he state whether inquiries are being made as to whether the shop was properly ventilated to take away the fumes; and why the necessary milk they ought to drink was not obtainable?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Duff Cooper)

The inquest stands adjourned and in the meantime I cannot, of course, make any statement on the case.
