§ Colonel ASHLEYIf the roads in question are "classified" or "scheduled" their upkeep ranks for grant at the normal rates of percentage from the Road Fund.

§ Colonel ASHLEYIf the local authority, who are responsible for the roads which the hon. and gallant Member has in mind, will make a request to have them scheduled, I will give it favourable consideration.
§ 41. Lieut.-Colonel ACLAND-TROYTEasked the Minister of Transport whether, with a view to encouraging the use of English stone, he will consider making a reduction in all grants from the Road Fund to local authorities for improvement or maintenance of roads on which imported stone is used?
