Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONYes, Sir. The Egyptian Government laid various proposals before the Governments of all the Capitulatory Powers, including His Majesty's Government, with the suggestion that they should, if necessary, be discussed at an international conference in Cairo. So far as I am aware, how 1118 ever, no date for it has yet been fixed. The British representatives at such a conference would probably be His Majesty's High Commissioner and the Senior British Judge in the Mixed Court of Appeal.
