Lieut.-Colonel STEPHENSONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when, having regard to the fact that His Majesty's Government has made arrangements for the repayment to the United States of America of the sums borrowed during the War on behalf of our Allies, France and Italy, it is proposed to complete the transaction by calling upon the French and Italian Governments to repay their borrowings from us by means of a similar arrangement?
