HC Deb 28 June 1928 vol 219 cc794-817

As amended (in the Standing Committee), considered.

Mr. SPEAKER

The first Amendment which I select is the second Amendment standing in the name of the Tight hon. Gentleman the Member for North Norfolk (Mr. Buxton).

Mr. BUXTON

May I ask whether you find that the first Amendment standing in my name—in page 2, line 15, at the end, to insert a new Sub-section: (2) The Regulations made under this Act by the Minister shall include a provision requiring that a packing station used for grading and marking any article shall be a co-operative association representing the producers of the article. is out of order?

Mr. SPEAKER

It is not a question of whether it is in order or not, but that it is one which I do not select.
