HC Deb 21 June 1928 vol 218 c1740
23. Mr. AMMON

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to the serious shortage of water, with the resulting danger to public health, at Haslington, in the rural district of Nantwich; and will he state what action has been taken by the local authority concerned and his Department with a view to a more adequate water supply being afforded residents in the district referred to?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

My attention has been drawn to this matter. The local authority have under consideration a proposal for providing a further supply of water and officers of my Department are conferring with representatives of the local authority on the proposal.
