HC Deb 21 June 1928 vol 218 cc1923-4
Sir A. SHIRLEY BENN

I beg to move, That the Order (19th April) for the committal of the Bill to a Standing Committee be read and discharged. This Bill received a Second Reading by the House and was sent to a Com- mittee, which has shown that it has not possibly got the time in which to deal with it, and I respectfully ask the House to recommit it to a Committee of the whole House, so that it can be dealt with.

Bill committed to a Committee of the Whole House for Friday, 6th July.— [Sir A. Shirley Benn.]

The remaining Orders were read, and postponed.
