asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what number of holders have been settled on schemes initiated since the present Government came into power; how many of these have been registered by the Land Court; and how many new holdings these schemes will provide?

The LORD ADVOCATE

Two hundred applicants have been settled on schemes initiated since the present Government came into power, and of these 153 have been registered by the Scottish Land Court. The schemes will provide in all 211 new holdings and 36 enlargements of existing holdings.
