asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of men employed by the Admiralty at Hong Kong and Singapore; and how many of these men have gone out from home yards under agreement?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Lieut.-Colonel Headlam)

The number at Hong Kong is 3,612 and at Singapore 875; of these numbers there are 121 and 34, respectively, who have been sent out from home under agreement.
