Mr. HORE-BELISHAasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury 1185 whether any decision has been reached regarding the recommendations made by the Departmental Committee on The Assurance Companies Act, 1909, that the Board of Trade should be enabled to apply to the Court for power to inspect any insurance undertaking?
§ Mr. H. WILLIAMSI have been asked to reply. The matter is one which must be dealt with when a Bill is introduced to deal with recommendations of the Departmental Committee as a whole. I am not able at present to say when it will be possible to introduce such a Bill.
