HC Deb 13 June 1928 vol 218 cc974-5
25. Sir R. THOMAS

asked the Minister of Health how many houses are at present unoccupied, and how many have been condemned as unfit for human habitation, in each of the six counties of North Wales?

Sir K. WOOD

Particulars as to the number of houses at present unoccupied in the counties referred to are not available. With regard to the last part of the question, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT giving such information as is available on the subject.

Following is the statement:

The SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Sir Samuel Hoare)

The position is still as stated in the reply I gave to the hon. Member on the 23rd May.

Mr. MALONE

Does the right hon. Gentleman think that the London-India air service will be functioning by the 1st April, 1929, the date that he mentioned a few weeks ago, or has he had any reason to reconsider that date?

Sir S. HOARE

No, Sir, I have had no reason to reconsider the opinion that I expressed. I hope that the service will be operating by April, 1929.
